Past Campaigns
1) Past cleaning expedition and awareness campaign:
We a group of nature lovers, in associations with local communities had been gathered several times, (photos are added collectively from different years and of places) who jointly ran cleaning expeditions to different area around Manali as of the Beas Kund area, Solang valley, villages cleaning campaign with the associations of local women and the help of volunteers.
2) Covid period operations:
Work shop for Children regarding the environment concern:
Our team and with the help of some nature lover volunteers jointly ran a workshop. Aim was to educate the children by designing the sign boards written the slogans based on environment issue and spread the message through these children to aware the populations regarding the fundamental responsibility to handle the garbage from each house hold.
3) Fixed signboard:
Workshop for school children were initiated during corona period, they enthusiastically gave us big hand to install the slogan in village and we assume that children are great medium to spread the message between their friends, family and parents.
4) Fed the stray dogs:
Covid period has created lot of problems to the people throughout the world, when entire India remain closed due to lockdown in 2020 which left great impact on the stray dogs. Their daily feeding dependency on tourist restaurants/local Dhaba (small restaurants) and even through locals sources was in stake. Our team with the generous participation of volunteer, NGO took jointly the initiative in hand to feed the stray dogs during that period.
